Name : Kuru
Age : Five
Gender : Female
Rank : Vagrant
Appearance : High held shoulders, shaggy coat; decent sized jowls and paws.
Eyes - Sapphire
Coat - Dark Blue-Grey, lighter underside
Build - Average sizing; thin stomach do to lifestyle
Markings - Patch of fur missing on left ankle from birth
Other - Dame: Pieka; Sire: Morowood; Siblings: Kinta and Borou
Personality : Stern, serious, philosophical. A new age traditionalist who enjoys an intellectual conversation. Though she has decent experience in fighting, she'd rather just threaten an enemy into submission then risk injury or loss. However, relatively ground standing, and can hold a grudge. Strategist and planner, thinker and listener.
History : Raised farther south, where the land was becoming more developed. Daughter of Pieka and Morowood, sister to Kinta and Borou, and friend to packmate Palae. She was contented with her simple life as a nonbreeding female, and didn't question what could exist beyond her own existence. Kuru had never dared to face her parents for leadership. She reached her age in silence, didn't dream of an outside world. As females, Kinta and herself were allowed to remain with the cadre, but Borou, as a male, was driven off to start his won life.
And maybe Kuru should have wised up and done the same. They lived within fifteen miles of human towns, and the stench on their flesh was pushing the game back. Local deer became harder to come by, even rodents and rabbits were decreasing in numbers. They were a pack of five that required a stable source of food. With Pieka pregnant once more, the cadre would be unable to move their location to better, more secluded grounds.
Kuru was sent off, just as was her brother a good year earlier. Age four, she wandered about with haphazard aimlessness. A nomad, camping in unclaimed grounds for weeks on end, and then hitting the trail without warning. In her travels, she rediscovered herself rethought her way of life, and pondered thought of philosophy and Gods. Her past years were spent under the command of some other leader, some other person telling her what should be done. And while that was all well and fine, she wanted a taste of that power.
A silent wanderer, she continues her search for answers, and not necessarily a place to settle down. If that place should come, then let it be. If it should never, she'll continue to live for the moment, and die the young aged death of vagrant.
