Why do you want to become a teacher?:
I believe I am a qualified role player, who has been there with the illiterate beginners, and understands how they feel. I have been role playing for at least three years now, and I'm pretty sure (xD) that I have the hang of it.
How do you plan on helping students?:
I plan on helping the students by giving them some basic literary tips. Giving them examples of what not to do --such as god moding, power playing-- and having private, one-on-one role plays with them so I can see their progress.
Give us an example of your skill: (At least two paragraphs.)
For miles a thick mist blanketed the hills, a thin sheet of rain fell from the skies. Everything seemed cold and dead, for it was really. Vaguely though, in the distance, a stack of smoke rose from below the valley. Fire.
Suddenly, orange flames began to lick at the grass, moving itself steadily through the prairie grass. Birds cawed loudly at such a sight, and immediately took flight, calling out "Danger" for anyone who would listen... or understand.
Humans came into view moments later, attempting an escape from the brutal flames that had already claim their home, their sanctuary, and their wolves. A cry came from one of them suddenly, breaking the silence of voices. It died soon though, as the body fell limp to the ground, where flames soon surrounded it.
A heart wrenching howl sounded suddenly from beyond the flames. "Good-bye" it said, "Good-bye." And so, the howl faded into the distance as the wolf ran off, hoping to find a better life, beyond the humans fire.
In Brey's heart, she knew she could never let this place go. She had been born here, she had lived here. Just like that though, her life was crushed. Her life was because of humans, but though she did not know it, it was the humans mistake that had forced her to this conclusion, to leave.
Paws skimmed over the ground in her signature, lopsided lope. What was she to do now? I have no home.. I have no humans.. no company.
So for the very first time in Brey's life, she was completely alone.
